This game wasn’t just good.

It was absolutely amazing.
Sure, I had some issues with the level design—doors that open based on the time of day felt really stupid—but the gameplay? An absolute blast, once you get used to it.
And the story?
A total masterpiece.
The entire XIII trilogy has been an incredible experience from start to finish.
A Tip for Newcomers:
PLAY THE FIRST TWO GAMES. You’ll appreciate everything so much more if you do. And when you dive into this one, keep one thing in mind: You have way more time than you think. Don’t rush. Focus on the main quests first, and you'll still have plenty of time to explore the side quests. Just breathe, pace yourself, and enjoy the ride.
